Bob Powers of Green Mesa Energy Audits is a HERS Rater trained to do both home energy audits and home energy ratings. What is the distinction? A HERS Rating results in an actual efficiency number (some compare a home energy rating to a car's fuel economy) and a Home Energy Audit will result in a prioritized list of energy efficiency related improvements.
Depending on the level of service desired, a projected cost/benefit schedule for each of the improvements may be included too. Green Mesa Energy Audits is trained and willing to do both and can direct you to qualified local contractors to implement the improvements suggested in the audit.
