Started in 1956, CalPly was founded to distribute plywood and related items to the manufactured housing industry in Southern California. The CalPly commitment to quality products won many fans and the company soon expanded from its original location in Pico Rivera, California. In the early 1960's, CalPly added acoustical products. In the 1980's, CalPly added wallboard, steel and plaster products. In the 1990's doors, frames and hardware were added. Today, from its 29 locations CalPly continues to build relationships with manufacturers and add products and services that create value and add product choices to a multitude of businesses, including: Acoustical, Drywall, Plaster and Framing contractors, manufactured building companies and governments & institutions.
